Our First Adoption Fundraising Goal

We are so very excited to be moving forward towards our dream to adopt!
We have been accepted into Nightlight Christian Adoption's Bulgaria program and we have applied to work with America World Adoption Association for our home study. Both agencies have been great, and we are thankful to be working with them.
And while we are excited and full of hope, we are also kind of blown away at how expensive adoption can be. To bring two siblings home from Bulgaria will most likely cost upwards of $50,000. We plan to seek out grants to help us fund our adoption, but many of these grants require you to have your home study complete before applying.
Our first two fees to Nightlight are $2,500 each. Nightlight has graciously allowed us to have an extension on this so that we can begin fundraising.

Our most pressing fundraising need right now is to pay our America World fees for our home study.
Our goal is to have our home study complete within three months so that we can apply for grants and move forward with our fees for Nightlight.
Here is the breakdown of the fees:
Home Study: $2,750
Post Adoption Report Prepayment: $1,600
Administrative Fee: $500
Social Service Travel Fee: $95
Total: $4,945
If you would like to help us, we would be so very grateful for your support!
All donations are tax deductible.
