Hands and Feet

We believe that each of us gets the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus on earth. We get to carry out His will on earth as it is in heaven. That is our joy and our calling as human beings. We get to choose to be stewards of our lives and to care for one another. Part of our desire to adopt is to have a family, yes, but it is also to be able to care for orphans who don't have a family. We want to love and provide a home for children who desperately need to feel safe and loved and wanted.

If you feel called or stirred to help us in any way, we would be most grateful.
Here are some of the ways you can help us:
-Financial giving https://adoptionbridge.org/families/hildebrandt-adoption/
-Sharing our website with people who are looking to collect art https://www.shepbrandt.com/
-Sharing our adoption journey with others https://www.shepbrandt.com/adoption
-Help us paint a room and get our house ready for our home study
-Help us find affordable twin beds and bedroom furniture for our future children
-Prayer
Thank you so much for being willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus and help us to carry out this dream!

“He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.”
-Deuteronomy 10:18 (New International Version)
“External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.”
–James 1:27 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)
